TL;DR

The vectra_rux package check failed because its generated README.md is out of date. The PR changed the source template to the malformed link text AgentElastic Managedess integrations, while the committed README renders Elastic Managed integrations; elastic-package therefore reports a deterministic content mismatch.

Remediation

  • In packages/vectra_rux/_dev/build/docs/README.md and packages/vectra_rux/docs/README.md, replace AgentElastic Managedess integrations with Elastic Managed integrations.
  • Run elastic-package build for vectra_rux and commit the regenerated README, then rerun the package check.
Investigation details

Root Cause

The PR diff at packages/vectra_rux/_dev/build/docs/README.md:26 and packages/vectra_rux/docs/README.md:26 introduces the malformed link label AgentElastic Managedess integrations. The package checker regenerates the README from the template and compares it with the committed output, so this typo causes the check to fail before tests run.

Evidence

Verification

  • Build log confirms the failure occurs during format and lint at the README freshness check; no stack or package tests ran.

Follow-up

This is a source/documentation typo in the PR, not an infrastructure or dependency failure.
